Archivio J.M. Ribot is a research project by designer Karim Fares — a deeply artisanal label that treats garments as gifts of time, imbued with history and tradition, reworked into contemporary design. The project is split into two capsules: Archivio J.M. Ribot, a limited edition handmade clothing capsule crafted from ancient textiles and buttons; and _RIforma, a series of one-of-a-kind pieces created by combining antique parts of early 20th century clothing, transforming their original function into something new while preserving their history and tactile memory.
Every piece is entirely handmade in Italy using a slow sewing technique without overlock machines — crafted from antique fabrics, aged buttons, and sewing threads sourced through years of meticulous research across Europe. Each garment is made to last a lifetime, beyond the trends imposed by fashion, carrying the soul and charm that only time can give.
